this book is only a few pages long but has every know most crew will ever need to use. Maybe if you were off on a single-handed round the world race you might need a few more but, lets face it, if you have to refer to a book then you probably shouldn't be doing it! The book's waterproof so whilst someone else is at the helm and everything's under control you can practice a few knots and make sure you're proficient and ready to use them when needed. Job done.

Reviews say that it has all the knots you’ll ever need. That’s 8. I appreciate that when sailing you want to be travelling light, so as a rucksack companion I guess this will be useful, but as others say, it’s for learning before you set sail, so bigger and better pics would have been more useful. Hopefully it will be helpful albeit not worth £7

I have to smile when folks complain this booklet is overpriced. It is rather expensive for what you get. But I think that’s missing the point. It is intended to be a handy guide which you can carry in your pocket when sailing and it covers the 8 knots sailors use on a regular basis. Given the relatively small number of these which will be sold, the waterproof pages and the spiral binding it is not that outrageous. If you want a cheap solution Google the knots. If you want handy this is just the jo. The fault really lies with Amazon for not putting a picture of the back cover on here. That provides clear information about what’s in the booklet and why. If you think this one is bad try the “Handy Guide to the Racing Rules 2017-2020”!

Nothing special, and Highly Overpriced 17 pages book. It only shows 8 basic Knots. Even though you can find much more online and even Android Phone Application has all this for free. Don't spend your money on it.

So thinnest book ever! It might be waterproof, it might have good illustrations, but seriously at 75 p a knot I feel underwhelmed!

A useful book with clear instructions. I was disappointed that the pages are not waterproof, that just applies to the cover. Useful nevertheless.

8 knots! That’s it! Probably only useful for a complete beginner at sailing or a child. Waste of money.

Not enough knots in this book. I learned more knots at 'Scouts' than there are in this book. Complete waste of time.

This book or should I say booklet cost me 8.79 with shipping. It's a tiny little booklet with only a few pages and looks like something that would be handed out for free. Very disappointed.

Great for learning the correct way to make knots. It is surprising how easy if was to forget the right knots to use. Thanks a good book & reference

Me ha desilusionado un poquito. Más breve y sencillo de lo que pensaba. Proporcionalmente caro aunque la ventaja es el material casi impermeable en el que está fabricado.
